These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website frinky.shop (the "Site") and any purchase you make from Mr. Frinky ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About us

Mr. Frinky is a gift shop based at Camden Lock Market, London, selling handcrafted and artistic gifts including metal signs, wooden signs, coasters, and gift cards, both in-store and online via this Site.

2. Using our website

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent/guardian, to place an order on this Site. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account or placing an order, and to keep your account details (username and password) confidential. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

We may suspend or close accounts that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently or in breach of these Terms.

3. Products

We try to display our products, colours, and finishes as accurately as possible, but slight variations may occur — especially with handcrafted items, where natural variation in materials (e.g. wood grain) is part of the product's character, not a fault. Product images are for illustrative purposes.

We reserve the right to discontinue any product or amend product descriptions, prices, and availability at any time without notice.

4. Orders and contract

When you place an order, you'll receive an order confirmation email — this confirms we've received your order, but it does not mean we've accepted it. A contract between us is only formed when we dispatch your order (or, for made-to-order/gift card items, when we confirm processing).

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for example if:

  • an item is out of stock or discontinued
  • we identify a pricing or listing error
  • we suspect fraud or a breach of these Terms

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, you'll receive a full refund.

5. Pricing and payment

All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include UK VAT where applicable. We take reasonable care to ensure prices are correct, but errors can occasionally occur; if we discover a pricing error on your order, we'll contact you before proceeding.

Payment is taken at checkout via our secure third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card details on our systems. Full payment must be received before we dispatch your order.

6. Delivery

We offer free UK delivery on orders over £30. Delivery charges for orders under this threshold, and for international orders, are shown at checkout.

  • Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed.
  • Risk in the goods passes to you once the order has been delivered to the address you provided.
  • You can check the status of your order via our Track Order page.
  • If your order doesn't arrive within a reasonable time, please contact us at frinky.shop@gmail.com and we'll investigate with our courier.

7. Returns and refunds

We offer a 30-day return window from the date you receive your order, in line with our full Refund and Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary:

  • Items must generally be returned unused, in their original condition and packaging.
  • Please contact us before sending anything back, so we can advise on the process.
  • Certain items (e.g. personalised or made-to-order products, and gift cards) may not be eligible for return unless faulty.

This doesn't affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including your right to a refund, repair, or replacement if goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.

8. Cancellation rights (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations)

If you're a consumer ordering online, you generally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. To cancel, contact us at frinky.shop@gmail.com. You'll need to return the goods at your own cost (unless faulty), and we'll refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned item. This right doesn't apply to personalised/bespoke items or gift cards.

9. Gift cards

Gift cards purchased from us:

  • can be used towards purchases on the Site or in-store, subject to any conditions shown at the time of purchase
  • are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except where required by law
  • should be treated like cash — we're not responsible for lost, stolen, or unused gift cards

10. Intellectual property

All content on this Site — including text, images, logos, product designs, and graphics — is owned by or licensed to Mr. Frinky and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

11. Reviews and user content

If you leave a review or other content on our Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, and display it in connection with our business. Please don't post anything unlawful, offensive, or that infringes someone else's rights — we reserve the right to remove such content.

12. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of profits or business opportunity) arising from your use of the Site or purchase of products. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

13. Website availability

We aim to keep the Site available and functioning correctly, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access and are not liable for any loss arising from the Site being temporarily unavailable, for example due to maintenance or technical issues.

14. Links to other websites

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites. We're not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party sites.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business or legal requirements. The version in force at the time you place an order will apply to that order. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, though if you're a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
